The Carrion Throne
Sera Vant cuts flesh for a living and asks no questions of the men who pay her , until a dying stranger in a field hospital whispers a secret meant for the king's ear alone, and collapses dead at her feet. By dawn, the High Septon has her in chains, and the man on the throne is fighting for breath he can no longer find.
