The Ashen Crown

A storm batters Elara Voss's workshop the night she begins the forbidden chart of the Ashen Crossroads , and the night she understands why every cartographer before her has failed to finish it. What looks like a route-map on parchment is in fact a cipher: each line she inks reveals a fragment of a lost kingdom, a crown consumed by fire, and the queen who refused to surrender it. The spectral echo of Queen Maren walks the margins of the map, and in a hidden journal, the dead queen's own hand points the way forward.
