The Cartographer of Lost Things

Mapmaker Marigold Pennicut has spent her life returning what others have lost: wedding rings dropped in riverbeds, letters misdirected by fate, the small keepsakes that slip through the cracks of ordinary days. But when Theodore Ashby arrives at her Wiltshire shop with a compass that points to nowhere and a commission for a map that cannot exist, every rule Marigold has ever drawn for herself begins to smudge. The map is impossible , it shifts when no one is looking, bleeds ink that won't dry, and shows places that have never been. With the help of her prickly sister Dot, the pie woman at the crossroads, and a one-eyed cat named Compass who answers to nobody, Marigold must decide how far she'll go for a man who cannot remember his own name , and whether some loves are worth getting lost in.
