That alibi was a map: a hand-drawn grid pinned to a suspect's office wall, timestamped and georeferenced, proving they were three blocks from the scene. Someone built it. Someone who understood the city's homicide standard well enough to fool a forensic cartographer. Now Coral is pulling the grid apart spoke by spoke, cross-referencing coordinates with Dr. Felix Tanaka's autopsies, Sully Dray's dispatch logs, and the transit routes Captain Whitmore swears were sealed. Maren Voss is asking why Coral's hands shake. Ray Aldana is asking why internal affairs is watching her. Judge Amara Osei holds a sealed order that unseals only if the grid is challenged in open session.
