OpenDesign API key setup
Design-agent subscription that bundles third-party model access as a monthly credit balance: Design Plan models (Claude Haiku 5.5, GPT-6 Luna, GLM-5.3 Flash, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, Kimi K2.7 Code) plus a separate plan-model allowance (GPT-6 Astra, Claude Opus 5.5, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Grok 4.7, Kimi K3). The app and the API draw on the same credit pool, so this is a bundled-credit subscription, not a per-token price list. BYOK is supported on every plan including Free: add your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google key and call provider models directly without spending OpenDesign credits. Team tiers run from $5 to $205 per seat (minimum 3 seats).
Get your key
- Open the OpenDesign site: open-design.ai
- Create an account and generate an API key.
- Paste it into the Dracon BYOK provider keys, stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM), used browser-direct, works in every Dracon tool.
Use your key in every tab
Two free extensions take the key you just set up. Both read the page you are on and use your own provider key — free, no account, nothing stored on a server we run.
AI Auto Form Filler
Complete a web form from a short description, using a model you bring yourself.

Free tier
No recurring free tier advertised as of the last check (2026-10-22). Usage is billed per the provider's listed pricing. You pay them directly, no Dracon markup.
Rate limits: Go: 10 concurrent tasks. Plus: 20. Pro: 30. Max: 30. One monthly credit ceiling per account; the app and the API draw on it together.

Gotchas
Browser-direct chat is not available for this provider: Subscription platform (design agent + monthly model credits), not a raw API connection we can call, so the plans surface covers it. The vendor API host answers /health but serves no OpenAI-compatible /v1 path, so no base_url is claimed.. Dracon provider keys still cover it for tools that run elsewhere (for example a LiteLLM chain from the Dracon Router builder).
