Home page: Omega section stripped of all teal — reads as a normal section, teal reserved for eyebrow + CTA only
The Dracon Omega section at the bottom of the home page was treated as a special "tier surface" with a full-width teal-tinted background — then reduced to just a thin 4px teal accent bar on the left. The user said "we dont need the highlight on the left of it but we woudl still have an odd ga between the last omega section and the footer" — even a thin bar was too much; the accent should only be used for the eyebrow and CTA, both of which are already teal. The section now has ZERO teal anywhere on it: no background fill, no left bar, no borders. It reads as the same dark surface as the rest of the page, with the same 3rem vertical padding as the other sections (ai_hub / music / games) and no border-bottom (the footer's border-top serves as the separator). Content is left-aligned (matches other sections) via the previous margin: 0 auto removal. The 120px dead band between Omega and the footer was eliminated by reducing .home_page padding-bottom from 5rem to 0; the only gap now is the standard .site_main 2.5rem padding-bottom (40px) which matches the spacing between other sections. Net result: Omega looks identical to the other sections (same dark background, same 3rem padding, left-aligned copy, content flows into the footer with a single 40px breathing room). Teal is now used in exactly two places on the Omega section: the eyebrow and the CTA. Two precise strokes, not a wall-paint.

Home page: hero rewritten (breadth-first), terminal removed, 5 big section buttons, half-height buttons
The hero was rewritten per user direction ("i still dont like the hero ... what would be the stronger introduction to our site"). Three rounds of iteration: (1) Initial rewrite to Draft B: title "Tools. Games. Music. AI." with subtitle "AI directory. Music player. Browser games. Open-source tools. All free to start." and 5 chip links to home sections — positioned Dracon as a service provider (AI listed LAST as "AI directory"), not an AI provider, per user direction ("we are not an ai provider mainly we are a service provider ... tools games music ai keep in mind"). (2) Terminal visual dropped per user direction ("i think we are cuttin the terminal on the left its noise ... we can have more button in the hero the relevant section big buttons") — the terminal was "noise" pulling attention away from the copy. The hero is now single-column: title + subtitle + 5 BIG section buttons. The subtitle dropped "All free to start." per user direction ("skip this part also"). (3) Buttons compacted to ~45px tall (was 120px+, ~62.5% reduction) per user direction ("the boxes are quite big not sure its the best look we can make them half as tall also") — switched from 3-row stacked layout (label + body + arrow) to single-row horizontal layout (label | body | arrow). The buttons now read as navigation rows rather than cards. A competitor audit (Supabase, Vercel, Linear, Plausible, Tailscale, Cal.com, Raycast) was done per user direction ("we should investigate other similarly positioned for their strategies") — finding: none of those sites put section buttons in the hero; sections are surfaced via the top nav + a feature grid below the hero. The 5 buttons are kept because the user explicitly asked for them ("more button in the hero the relevant section big buttons"), just at half the height.

Home page: Omega section, AI Hub promo-code angle, 3-repo dev tools, 1-game focus, 2-extension cut, stronger hooks, Omega at bottom, correct SamAI + VidPro extensions, no thumbnails, Omega full-width
The home page now has 7 sections. Per user direction ("omega 1x, music 1x, games 1x, chrome extension 2x, dev stuff 3x"), each section is a 1x or 2-3x surface. The Omega section now sits at the BOTTOM of the page (was position 3, between hero and AI Hub) per user direction ("omega we only feature at the botom cause what is omega for matters") — Omega is the paid-tier conversion surface that comes after the free discovery sections. The AI Hub section copy leads with the promo-code value prop. The 6-repo "Featured programs" section is reduced to 3 (warden, sync, auto banner) with a stronger opening hook ("Open source we use to ship the platform"); the "Browse all 6 repos on GitHub" link is removed. The games section is reduced from "15 playable" to "1 released" (one-mil-girls). The 8-extension section is reduced to 2: SamAI (the local WXT extension at /home/dracon/Dev/browser-extensions-shared/extensions/SamAI/ — AI browser companion, Alt+S sidebar, BYOK Mistral/NVIDIA/OpenRouter) and VidPro (the local WXT extension at /home/dracon/Dev/browser-extensions-shared/extensions/vidpro-extension/ — YouTube video optimization, AI-assisted titles/descriptions/tags, SEO scoring). The previous "AI Auto Form Filler" (Chrome Web Store) and "Volume & Video Pro" (DraconDev GitHub) were wrong per user direction ("we are featuing tne wrong extensions we want to feature vidpro and samai ... not correct /home/dracon/Dev/browser-extensions-shared/extensions/ we have them here too"). Both new extensions are in development (not on the stores yet) — links point at placeholder pages /extensions/samai and /extensions/vidpro. The opening hook is vaguer ("Two extensions worth a slot in your toolbar.") to avoid implying single-person authorship. Thumbnails were added then removed per user direction ("we dont want pictures") — the items now lead with the name only. The Dracon Omega section is now full-viewport-width (breaks out of the site_main container via `width: 100vw` + `margin-left: calc(50% - 50vw)`) per user direction ("dracon omega deosnt have a tier baackgound either it looks kind of bad unless we extend it full width ... lest ty that first") — the accent-tinted background now reads as a proper tier surface spanning edge-to-edge instead of a narrow strip in the middle of the page. The content (title / body / CTA) stays constrained to var(--container-prose) for readability.

Catalog: Filler and Azumi cut from /products
Filler and Azumi are removed from the products catalog. /products now shows two products: Tiles (open-source dev tool, the only open-source entry) and SamAI (the lead hosted service, included in Dracon Omega). The github.com/dracon CTA on the cut entries is replaced with the real repo URLs (azumi-live-ssr-framework for Azumi was 404 and is no longer relevant; tiles-tui-file-manager is the Tiles repo). The dp retirement page replaces the Azumi card with Tiles. The /docs TOC drops the #azumi and #filler entries (no matching anchors existed).

Licensing is cut from the Dracon platform
The /licensing page and the chrome footer "Licensing" link are removed. The home page "no licenses" framing is unchanged — the platform has no licensing model at all. See HOME-STRATEGY-DECISIONS Decision 8.
-
Home page: games now play, sitemap cleaned, no more "coming soon"
The 5 game hrefs on the home page now point to the playable /play routes. The sitemap no longer lists /games/placeholder. The "Coming soon" section heading is now "From the Dracon team" (2 of 5 already ship as standalone in the Chrome Web Store).
-
AI Hub: "More" dropdown for Vouchers + Promos
The AI Hub sub-nav now shows 4 main tabs (Rankings, Plans, Providers, Free) plus a "More" dropdown that holds Vouchers and Promos. The tab bar is less crowded without dropping the less-visited sections.
-
Sitemap uses the canonical dracon.uk domain
The sitemap now defaults to https://dracon.uk. The SITEMAP_BASE_URL env var overrides the default. /licensing is removed from the sitemap.
-
Home page rewrite: use tools only
The home page now leads with "use" tools (SamAI, Filler, games, AI Hub, Dashboard, Tiles) and demotes "build-with" tools (Azumi) to /products and GitHub. See HOME-STRATEGY-DECISIONS Decisions 1-5.
-
AI Hub rankings: 20 omega-worthy browser extensions
The home page "From the Dracon team" section is curated on the omega-worthy criterion: extensions that use AI and need Dracon Omega credits (not standalone local-first tools). The other 15 live on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox AMO. See Decision 7.
-
Chrome: Trust + Resources + Connect columns added
The footer expanded from 3 to 5 columns. Trust holds Security, Compliance, DPA, Privacy, Terms. Resources holds Docs, Changelog, Status. Connect holds the GitHub org link.
-
Platform chrome: Get started CTA and 5-column footer
Added a primary "Get started" CTA to the chrome top-right and expanded the footer from 3 to 5 columns (Products / Resources / Connect / Company / Trust). The CTA is hidden on mobile and lives in the drawer instead.
-
Chrome consistency across all 5 apps
Main nav and sub-nav now share the same accent underline language. Vertical padding on both chrome bars is tightened to remove free space.
